Model Governance & Transparency
Framework Integrity
The Valuation Stability Standard™ (VSS) is an independent analytical scoring framework designed for structural durability assessment of business models.
The VSS model operates under version-controlled parameters. All scoring outputs reference a defined model release and are reproducible under documented scoring logic.
Deterministic Methodology
VSS uses deterministic scoring functions. No probabilistic outputs. No opaque AI estimations. All results are reproducible under the same input parameters and model version.
Integrity Controls
Submissions are screened through anomaly detection, cross-field consistency checks, and anti-gaming mechanisms. Integrity thresholds must be met before certification.
Benchmark Gating
Percentile outputs are released only when minimum verified cohort thresholds are satisfied.
Benchmark Cohort Architecture
VSS grades are calibrated against defined peer cohorts. Cohort definitions are model-specific and version-controlled, ensuring consistent comparative assessment across assessment periods.
| Principle | Implementation |
|---|---|
| Peer Calibration | Grades are calibrated against defined peer cohorts within each model version |
| Version Control | Cohort definitions are model-specific and version-controlled |
| Statistical Thresholds | Percentile disclosures require minimum cohort sizes (n ≥ 25) |
| Recalibration Protocol | Cohort recalibration occurs upon model version updates |
| Benchmark Gating | Prevents premature percentile publication below statistical thresholds |
Confidence Band Classification
Audit Trail & Record Integrity
Submission snapshots and certificate records are retained for audit integrity and are immutable following issuance. All scoring outputs are version-locked to the model release under which they were computed.
| Control | Implementation |
|---|---|
| Submission Immutability | Submissions are locked upon certificate issuance and cannot be modified |
| Snapshot Retention | Complete submission data is captured at issuance for forensic reference |
| Hash Verification | SHA-256 hashes are computed and stored for tamper detection |
| Version-Locked Scoring | Scoring function version is recorded with each certificate |
| Event Logging | All significant actions are logged with timestamps and actor identification |
