Version Archive
Historical record of VSS model versions. All scoring outputs reference a specific model release for reproducibility and audit traceability. Each version entry documents calibration methodology, cohort adjustments, and structural changes.
SaaS_V1.0
Release Date: February 28, 2026
Calibration Notes
Initial calibration against SaaS industry cohort. Baseline weights established through regression analysis of historical valuation multiples against operational metrics. MPI coefficients set asymmetrically to reflect downside sensitivity in buyer valuations.
Cohort Adjustment Summary
Base cohort established with minimum threshold n=25 for percentile disclosure. Confidence bands implemented at n=100 (High), n=50 (Moderate), n=25 (Limited). Benchmark gating prevents premature percentile publication.
Structural Changes
- -Initial model release with 32 signals across 5 pillars
- -Revenue Quality (RQ), Customer Dependency (CD), Capital Efficiency (CE), Execution & Operations (EO), Market & Moat (MM)
- -MPI asymmetric adjustment coefficients: compression 0.85, expansion 1.15
- -Confidence scoring with completeness, verification, and consistency components
- -Integrity flags for anomaly detection and anti-gaming measures
- -Grade mapping: VSS-1 through VSS-5 based on score thresholds
Version Control Protocol
Model versions follow semantic versioning principles. Major version increments indicate structural changes to pillar definitions, signal weighting, or grade thresholds. Minor versions address calibration refinements within existing structures.
Upon version release, all existing certificates retain their original model version reference. New assessments are scored under the current active version. Historical certificates remain valid and verifiable against their original scoring parameters.
Cohort recalibration occurs with each major version update. Benchmark distributions are reset and rebuilt as new assessments accumulate under the updated model.
